Fall after school club registration is now CLOSED!
Students will learn all about the ukulele with Sloan School of Music’s instructor, Danni Sheron! The club will go over how to tune the ukulele and play songs with common chords and strumming patterns.
For grades: 3-5
Club ends at 4:45 PM
Fee: $100 and includes ukulele
Learn chess with Magnus Academy, the five time world champion’s academy! We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state & national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games. Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.
For grades: K-5

Sugarloaf Elementary School is excited to partner with Clarksburg Yoga & Wellness to bring a delightful new Yoga Club to our students! This engaging series is designed to introduce your child to the practice of yoga in a fun and interactive way.
Through playful activities and exercises, your child will explore self-awareness, learn techniques to calm their nervous system, and build connections with their peers. Our goal is to make yoga a joyful and enriching experience for every child, helping them develop both physical skills and emotional resilience.
Join us for a series of classes where yoga meets fun, and watch your child grow and thrive both on and off the mat!
For grades: K-3
Club ends at 5 PM

The Details:
All clubs are individually run. All registration and payment will go directly to the club sponsors.
All club sponsors have completed the FCPS Volunteer Training for the 2024-2025 school year.
Families are responsible for emailing the school (sugarloaf.es@fcps.org) and their child's teacher with a change of dismissal email on the day their student is attending an after school club.
Students will be dismissed from their classrooms at 3:55 to go directly to their club locations. Locations will be announced prior to the club start date.
Each club may have different ending times, so please pay close attention to what time your student needs to be picked up.
All students will be dismissed from the main doors. Please meet your student outside the front doors at the end of their club so they can be released to you from the club sponsor. Parents will not be allowed inside the building.
