SuES PTA Presents!

Registration for SUES PTA Presents: Aladdin will be a two part process. Please note that  registration will be first-come, first-served. 


Part 1: Pay via Cheddar Up link, available starting 10:00 am on November 18.

If you do not have an account, you will need to create one. 


Part 2: Complete Google Form/Registration via link from Cheddar Up receipt for each student.

Registration will close on November 20 at 11:59 pm, or when play reaches capacity. 

We are happy to announce the return of the musical to Sugarloaf Elementary School. This February, in collaboration with the Maryland Ensemble Theater, the SuES PTA Presents: Aladdin and His Wonderful, Magical Lamp.

 

Please note that all performances and Tech Week rehearsals (February 20-22) will take place at Urbana Middle School (UMS). Transportation will need to be provided by a parent/guardian to and from UMS on these dates.

 

REGISTRATION DETAILS:

Registration will begin on Saturday, November 18, at 10:00 am. It will be first-come, first-served via a link from:  https://www.suespta.org/events-activities/sues-pta-presents.

The registration will close on November 20, or when the play has reached capacity.

 

      Cost: $65/student, which will include 4 tickets to a performance. Payment must be made at time of registration.

      Additional tickets for purchase will be available at a later date.

      If the play registration fee creates a financial hardship, please contact School Counselor, Jessica Zambreny at Jessica.zambreny@fcps.org by November 15.

 

AUDITIONS (11/28 for K-3; 11/30 for 4 & 5):

      Students will stay after school on audition days.

      Each student needs to come prepared to sing a portion of a song (30 seconds).

      We will have a rolling dismissal for the auditions with the youngest students being dismissed first – details to come after registration.

      Every student who auditions will receive a role in the play.

      Students MUST be registered prior to auditions!

 

FAMILY  INVOLVEMENT:

We could not put on the school play without parents and guardians!

We need your help in order to have this fun and educational experience for our children and school. We need parents/guardians to commit to the following:

      Attend the parent/guardian meeting on Tuesday December 5 at 7:00 pm in the SuES cafeteria;

      Volunteer for at least two rehearsals;

      Volunteer during one performance; and

      Pick up your student(s) promptly at 5:30 on rehearsal days. Pick up procedures will be explained during the meeting.
